Britney Spears has sparked controversy once again after she was spied shopping for sexy lingerie in West Hollywood with her young son at her side.

The star, who has regularly been seen out partying since filing for divorce from husband Kevin Federline in November, was spotted with her 16-month-old son Sean Preston at Trashy Lingerie on Sunday.

Spears, who was famously snapped without her panties at one late-night party, was followed to the store by a pack of paparazzi.

The singer told the photographers she was still dating model Isaac Cohen, despite telling them last week, “Me and Isaac, we’re not together, by they way.”

Spears said she was picking up a special Valentine’s Day outfit to wear for her new beau.

Despite Britney Spears telling paparazzi on Thursday, January 18th, that she and model Isaac Cohen are “not together, by the way,” Isaac insisted to Star that they’re still on!

Wearing a purple Christian Audigier designed Ed Hardy tee-shirt over a long sleeved thermal shirt (”I love his clothes!”), Isaac talked with Star exclusively on Friday, January 19th at his beige carpeted apartment in Encino, CA where he was listening to music playing softly. Isaac explained to Star that “everything is fine” between him and Brit.

“I talked with her earlier today.” Tall, handsome and exceedingly polite (Isaac offered to shake a reporter’s hand not once, but twice!), Isaac seemed a bit overwhelmed by all of the recent media attention, but was taking it in stride. “I can handle anything that’s thrown at me, but I would appreciate if you didn’t bother my friends and family. I’m having a relationship with (Britney), not (the media).”

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton’s friendship is definitely on hiatus according to the singer’s representative.

The pair’s recent partying exploits turned many fans off of Britney and now she apparently wants to get away from all that.

Her spokesperson explained: “Britney had fun with Paris. But she wants to focus on her family and career now.”

Readers of Hello magazine cast their votes in an online poll to name Denmark’s Australian-born Crown Princess Mary as the ‘Most Elegant Woman’ of the year for her sense of style and self-assuredness.

However, following closely on Mary’s heels was the former princess of pop Britney Spears, who though finding herself on the wrong side of fashion critics for the past few months, earned plaudits for her stylish appearance at the 2006 American Music Awards, when she took to the stage to present one of the trophies in a figure-hugging caramel-coloured dress.

Third spot on the list went to Australian beauty Cate Blanchett, who won approval for her sophisticated sense of style, reports Hello magazine.

The top five was rounded of by singer Natalie Imbruglia and Queen Rania of Jordan, who came in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Officials at Britney Spears’ record label are urging fans not to be fooled by an Internet tune, which claims to be a leak of the pop star’s new record.

A new song on the YouTube Web site, which appears to be all about Britney’s estranged husband Kevin Federline, features a Spears sound-a-like, but bosses at Jive Records insist it isn’t the singer.

On the track, called “Fed-Up,” the faux-Britney sings, “You think you can walk all over me/And you think that I will just let you be/Now I’m going to do things differently.”

But a spokesman at Jive says, “It’s not Britney.”

BRITNEY Spears is rumored to be pregnant only 10 weeks after her split from Kevin Federline, and four months after she gave birth to her second child.

A close friend yesterday told American magazine In Touch Weekly they believed the troubled singer was pregnant again.

“She’s heavier but that’s not it - it’s the sparkle in her eye,” the friend said.

In the 10 weeks since her split from her husband, Spears has been partying hard.
